LEGO Extravaganza with Cody Wells

LEGO Extravaganza with Cody Wells
Jackson Public Library
Friday, November 23rd from 4-6 pm
Appropriate for ages 4+
Registration requested by clicking here or by calling 383-9731

Participants are encouraged to bring a LEGO creation of their own to be judged by Cody, perhaps inspired by something from around the valley, or a favorite book. There will be prizes! LEGOS for use during the program will be provided, and there will be a raffle for a LEGO mosaic created by Cody. He will also have items for sale after the program.

Cody has numerous accomplishments: “He is an award-winning designer, winning the 2013 BRICKIE at Brickfair – Virginia (featured in “A Lego Brickumentary”) in TV & Sci-Fi for his Star Trek Enterprise. He was hired by the NY & NJ Port Authority to lead a Lego build of Queens, NY landmarks for the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 World’s Fair. And in October 2015, Cody and C3Brix aired on national TV on the Steve Harvey Show.

While this Astoria, NY resident has done major builds, he never tires of working with children and teaching them to use their imagination. “I have never forgotten where I started and I want to make sure kids today continue to use Legos outside of just the instructions in kits. C3Brix motto is ‘Rebuild Your Childhood.’ I want to make sure the next generation is encouraged to do the same.”

For more information about Cody, you can visit his website at c3brix.com.

This program is free and open to the public.
