New Storywalk, now with fewer stinging insects

Once There Was a Bull… Frog!

Yesterday Meredith and Laurel installed a new story in our StoryWalk around the Library. Come anytime and read Once There Was a Bull… (Frog) page by page while you enjoy our beautiful Library grounds. It begins to your right if you are facing the front of the building.

While you are there you can rest assured that I violently eliminated the wasps nests that had appeared on our back deck. I know a few people have been trying to work out there only to be harassed by the bugs. That should not happen anymore – we would love to see you taking advantage of the lovely adirondack chairs the Friends bought for us last summer.

Live Animal Program

As part of our Summer Reading Program, don’t miss our mid-season Extravaganza with Squam Lakes Natural Science Center as they present “ANIMAL ARCHITECTS” on Wednesday, July 19th at 5:30pm at the Jackson Library.

We just found out that the Covered Bridge Dance is the same day as our celebrated Family Dance Party and Picnic on August 5th.
