April Question of the Month

Did you know that April is National Poetry month? Come on down and share a favorite poem with us. April is also when we start thinking of spring and the wonders it brings. In the poem “in Just-“, E.E. Cummings describes the springtime world as mudluscious. In thinking of the new world that unfolds each spring, our question for this month is:

What are the signs of spring that you most anticipate?

As to spending the pot of gold from March’s question, we had wide-ranging answers. Some folks wanted to travel, taking a multi-generational family trip around the world on a sailing boat . One person liked the idea of buying lunch and giving it more thought. Two astute youngsters deemed giving to charity and saving for college the best options! And there was a specific mention of donating it to the Jackson Library. In the meantime, keep your eyes open for a rainbow.

  1. The smell of melting snow and thawing ground, the feel of warm rays and song of chirping birds.
