Celebrate Poetry

Did you know that April is poetry month? Stop by and check out some poetry to peruse and enjoy at your leisure. Perhaps you also have a favorite poem your would like to share with us. For your reading pleasure, we have plenty of titles to choose from in both our adult and children’s sections. If you are feeling inspired, try your hand at writing a poem! The Conway Public Library is hosting their annual poetry contest for writers of all ages; for more information you can visit their web page at conwaypubliclibrary.org.

Did you ever wonder how many books we have in the Jackson Library? Share your estimate on our new Question of the Month board. We will post the answer in May.

Our Do-It-Yourself craft center in the Children’s Room has a new activity. Make and take home your own bee, perfect for anticipating spring and the blossoms it will bring.
