Checking you out

I’m not being fresh… maybe just a little. Since we can’t chat face to face, I am going to be writing you letters every day about how we have been spending our confinement here at the Library. Gosh, it’s lonesome with out our friends and volunteers.

You may be concerned about the possible infection on items you are checking out. Well done, very conscientious of you, but I want to tell you how we are minimizing the possible risk you may encounter on our library items.

First, we wash our hands and disinfect surfaces many, many times a day. Before we swaddle your items in the paper sleeve identifying you for pickup, we wipe the covers with disinfectant. We cannot guarantee everything is completely germ-free, but we are doing our very best. If you are at-risk or worried, please don’t use our materials!
