Items needed for Summer Reading

“Libraries Rock!” this summer in Jackson. Starting in July, we are thrilled to offer our annual Summer Reading Program, and we need your help. We will be working on numerous projects throughout the month, and we welcome donations of the following recycled items as soon as possible:

Plastic break-apart eggs
Empty canisters and containers with lids (such as oatmeal and cornmeal or coffee)
Wire clothes hangers
Socks (you know, those single ones that no longer have a pair!)
Film canisters (if anyone still has these)

This year we will once again offer two four-week programs, one for elementary school-aged children (for kids in grades K-6), and one for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. No registration required and all are welcome. Check out our Libraries Rock! Summer Reading Program page for all the details.
