LIBRARIES ROCK Summer Reading Program

This year we will once again offer two four-week programs, one for elementary school-aged children (for kids in grades K-6), and one for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. No preregistration is required and all are most welcome.

Our weekly themes this summer will be as follows:

Elementary School Program, Tuesdays July 10th-31st from 3:15-4:30 pm
July 10: Rock and Roll!
July 17: Making Instruments
July 24: Science in Music
July 31: Special Tin Mountain Program

Storytime Program, Thursdays in July starting at 10:30 am
July 5: Let’s Move
July 12: Let’s Make Noise
July 19: Let’s Sing
July 26: Let’s Listen

Please join us for our mid-season Extravaganza on Wednesday, July 18th at 5:30pm, with an amazing drum performance by Jefferey Clayton of PanNeubean Steel!

In addition to our Summer Reading Program, our LEGOS at the LIBRARY will meet every Thursday in July from 3:30 to 4:30.

Many thanks to the following businesses and organizations for their generous support of our Summer Reading Program: Autumn Nomad Café, Dairy Queen, J-Town Deli, Kringle’s Country Store, Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf, Portland Sea Dogs, and Story Land!

Also sponsored by the Children’s Librarians of New Hampshire and the Friends of the Jackson Public Library.

All our Summer Reading Program activities are free and open to the public.

*Please note that there will be no regularly scheduled children’s programming at the library in August.
