Meredith was out early this morning changing all the stories in Jackson!
She hung Wet Dog by Elise Broach on the path behind the Library. It features a hot summer day – won’t that be refreshing!? The trail is appropriate for any type of conveyance – boots, snow shoes, skiis, sleds… even paws. At the moment the conditions are probably best for boots or snow shoes.
On a hot, hot day, a good old dog just has to get some relief! Around the steamy country lanes, he sniffs and searches until he finds a chauffeur washing a shiny car, a baker scrubbing some sticky pans, and a florist spraying a pink bouquet. they?re all getting ready for a country wedding, and this overheated pup just wants to plunge into the fun?and water! but will the wedding party in their fancy finery welcome this gotta-be-cool pooch?
At Jackson Ski Touring we feature Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin. Take the Ellis River Trail and at the top of the hill bear right onto the Riverbank Loop. You should see the first page right away. The last page is at the Cocoa Cabin. Kids ski free, but adults will need a trail pass. Check with us to see if our pass is available for checkout. This trail is best suited for cross country skiis.
