Now open Sundays!

It’s such a gorgeous day that I hope you are doing something that feeds you soul and uplifts your spirit. I spent a dreamy morning moving my goats and sheep to their summer pastures and now I am happy to be here! Both of those things fit the bill for me so if you need something to help out with the soul-feeding and spirit-lifting, you can come see me until 5pm today and every Sunday through August.

And while I am at it I would love for you to note some recent contributions made to us by some dedicated volunteers. Early in the spring a friend of the Library refurbished our sandwich sign. He sanded and painted, added two new rows for letters – more room for puns!, reinforced the legs to protect from rot, and replaced the wheels.

After that, another talented person added lettering and decorations to the new sandwich board as well as the Open-Sundays signs. The results are spectacular and accurately reflect the elegance found within the building… and not just in the staff! This was a large amount of work for both these folks and I want to publicly say how much we all appreciate it.
