Summer Reading in Full Swing!

Our Summer Reading Program Libraries Rock! is in full swing at the Jackson Library! Wednesday, folks of all ages were swaying along to the fabulous steelpan drum music of Jeff Clayton of PanNeubean Steel. A big thank you to the Trustees and Friends of Jackson Library for making this wonderful program possible.

Last Tuesday, inspired by the book Ada’s violin : the story of the Recycled Orchestra of Paraguay by Susan Hood, children at the Summer Reading Program created a variety of their own instruments out of recycled materials, like the wonderful lid banjo below! Keep on reading!
