Programs: The Jackson Library and Friends of Jackson Library plan and present numerous informational, cultural, literary, and recreational programs for all ages throughout the year. Please see our Programs page for descriptions and schedule.
Reference: Jackson Library staff welcomes reference questions of all types. Stop in, call, or email and let us know what information you seek.
Technology: Contact us to schedule one-on-one help downloading ebooks or audiobooks, or for general assistance with technology and gadgets.
Interlibrary Loan: If we do not have an item you are seeking, most times we can borrow it from another library. Contact library staff to make a request or use our online request form.
Copying: 8.5 x 11 letter size – 15 cents per page; ask about color copies.
Faxing: We do not have a dedicated line for faxes. If you will be receiving a fax at the library, please call and let us know ahead of time. Fax receipts are available only during the library’s open hours on a limited basis. Cost for faxing is $1.00 per page to send or receive. No faxing outside the continental US.
Scanning: Scanning documents is available. Please see the librarian for options and cost.
Public Computers: The library has 6 desktop PCs for public use in the main room and second floor. All public computers have internet access and open source programs that offer Word processing, spreadsheets, and photo processing. Printing is available from the library’s desktop computers.
Wifi, Wireless Internet Access: We have wireless internet connection available for anyone with a properly equipped internet-ready device. Depending on your device, wifi can be accessed from outside the building when the library is closed.
