EROS is an anthology of three short films, each touching on the subjects of love and sexuality, from three acclaimed directors from three disparate cultures—Steven Soderbergh (United States), Michelangelo Antonioni (Italy) and Wong Kar Wai (Hong Kong). In The Hand, Gong Li stars as a 1960s high-end call girl in an impossible love affair with her tailor. Directed by Wong Kar Wai. Equilibrium focuses on an advertising executive (Robert Downey, Jr.) who's under enormous pressure at work. During the executive's visits to his psychiatrist (Alan Arkin), doctor and patient delve into the possible reasons why the businessman's stress seems to manifest itself in a recurring erotic dream.
