Description
Maxine Peake and Rupert Penry-Jones return in Peter Moffat's thrilling legal drama following the rivalry, tension and intrigue between top barristers on the front line of criminal law. Martha Costello is already a QC of a year's standing and, on the back of the Jody Farr case, is building her practice and a reputation for winning unwinnable cases. Clive Reader has finally achieved Silk and he's specialising in Prosecution, so increasingly Martha and Clive are pitted against each other in court. The two must find a way to keep the personal and the professional separate or everyone will suffer.
